Have you ever wished you had a deeper understanding of God's Word? Wished that you could have been in the inner circle with Jesus and his inquisitive followers?

Maybe we can get closer than we think, if we spend a little additional time at it. There are no short cuts to accomplishment. Progress toward any goal means study and practice. I have a suggestion that may be easy and helpful for you.

I have a habit, whereby, as I read the text, I often circle question marks with a red pencil. Go to the Gospels where Jesus mingled with those who followed him. Always there were questions. Either to Jesus or from him, and always there were answers.

As I read Matt. 19 this A. M. I noted eight questions in that one chapter, six in Chap. 20, and ten in 21. In John 3:1-21 Nicodemus had three questions and Jesus had two. Do you remember what Jesus answers were?

I suggest that you look carefully at the questions you mark and then study the answers. Spend a little extra time. You might be surprised how much you discover so quickly. It can become a fascinating and enjoyable study time. You have the best Textbook and an Authoritative Teacher.

Give it a try. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
