God’s Holy Word is precious
To all who follow Him,
We love to read it’s precepts,
It’s truths we should not skim.
God’s Word is like a Lamp
To guide us on our way,
If we hide it in our heart,
We will never go astray.
God’s Word is like an Anvil
It has stood the test of time,
Regardless of the devil’s darts,
It’s never in decline.
God’s Word is our true Anchor
Through life’s tempestuous sea,
We need not fear the storms of life,
For our Captain, He will be.
