Expectations

Sometimes our expectations Are from people that we know: Teacher, Preacher, Neighbor, Friend And we follow the works they show.

But disappointment often comes We don't find in them perfection,, We see their faults and feel let down In the wrong place is our affection...

To whom then shall we go or look, Who only can our pattern be, Depart not from the Holy Book And the answer we'll clearly see!

"My soul wait thou only on God, For my expectation is from Him."
