1:7 The fear
of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom
and instruction.
4:23 Keep they heart with
all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
11:13 A talebearer revealeth secrets,
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
14:34,35. Righteousness
exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
The king’s favor is toward a
wise servant, but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.
15:13,14 A merry heart
maketh a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit
is broken. The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge,
but the mouth of fools feed n foolishness.
16:9 A man’s heart deviseth his way, but the Lord directeth
his steps.
16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof
are the ways of death.
27:1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day
may bring forth.
